Dervish Sound Dress is an exploration of digital art, cultural traditions, computer music and costume design. It combines wearable technology with performance for a sonic experience that is expressed though movement and sound.
Drawing from the rich cultural traditions of the Mevlevi Dervish order of Turkey, Dervish Sound Dress seeks to immerse the wearer in an interactive body instrument for a unique sound journey engaging both the wearer and the viewer.
